Issues Discussed: Major Needs of the Committee
Federal Agencies will be challenged on infrastructure consolidation. Federal Enterprise Architecture - Each agency has its own architecture that meets Federal requirements. Geospatial One-stop may not meet these needs. Tod Dabolt - What are the roles of various datasets in meeting business needs? David Wells - Many agencies do not know what their data needs
are. Are the benefits so great that they don't need to come to the table or vice versa? Form "partnerships" with groups. Mac McKee - In the research community there are people... ie. National Institute of Water Resources. National Water Quality Monitoring Council - get someone who knows about water quality to respond. David Wells - Get tribes involved.
