NATIONAL MINING ASSOCIATION
The National Mining Association (NMA) is a major national trade
association whose membership encompasses most of America's metal,
coal, and industrial and agricultural minerals producers; the mining
and mineral processing machinery and equipment manufacturers and
suppliers as well as engineering and consulting firms and financial
institutions that serve the mining industry.

Subcommittee of the Environment Committee is
involved at a national level in the following water and
water related issues:
National water initiatives, programs, and plans
Surface water criteria, monitoring, and analytical methodology
Ground water criteria, monitoring, and analytical methodology
Water appropriation and beneficial use
Wetlands delineation techniques and criteria
Potable water criteria, monitoring, and analytical methodology
Analytical methodology and standards
Watershed impact mitigation and restoration
