National Water Quality Monitoring Conference

A centerpiece forum for communication and collaboration among the monitoring community -- that is the Council's biennial national conference. The national conference explores many water monitoring issues. More than 900 water practitioners from all backgrounds attended the 2010 conference in Denver, Colorado. Attendees represented governmental organizations, tribes, volunteers, academia, watershed and environmental groups, and the private sector. The conference is a showcase for new findings on the quality of the Nation's waters and for highlighting new innovations and cutting-edge tools in water-quality monitoring, assessment, and reporting.
