SWRR serves as a forum to share information and perspectives that will promote better decision making in the U.S. regarding the sustainable development of our nation's water resources. It has been actively and effectively involved in raising the awareness of about water resource issues, exchanging technical information, and providing opportunities for discussion of sustainability.
SWRR has hosted one to three meetings every year, engaging hundreds of professionals on this topic, and continues to engage more people in the discussions as the workshops travel to different locations.
SWRR produces Roundtable publications and reports describing its activities, including updates on its work on indicators and targeting of research.
Participants in SWRR have played a valuable role in encouraging and supporting publications and presentations on sustainable water issues. Our members have an impressive list of speaking and publishing credits, which play an important role in spreading the word as well as the knowledge.
