and Frederick G. Lissner, Vice-Chair, Oregon Department of Water
Resources
Purpose: Evaluate the effectiveness
of the Coop Program and recommend improvements. |
2004 COOP Task Force was sunset/dicontinued January 19, 2006.
This Task Force was co-chaired by Glenn Patterson, U.S. Geological
Survey
Purpose: Assess the effectiveness of the USGS in addressing the recommendations of the 1999 external Coop Program review Task Force, and continued actions to be taken by the USGS to more fully implement the recommendations of 1999 report. |
Streamgaging Task Force
(Sunset/Discontinued September 10, 2003)
This task Force was co-chaired by Tom Yorke, US Geological Survey
and Tom Stiles, Interstate Council on Water Policy.
Purpose: Evaluate streamgaging
nationwide and develop a national strategy for streamgaging
by 2000. |

Federation and Linda Eichmiller, Association of State and
Interstate Water Pollution Control Administrators
Purpose:To help identify
and clarify what science tools and information are
available or needed to assist state, tribal and
local organizations in listing impared waters, developing
effective TMDL plans, and implementing TMDL's.
